Vote For Top-100 Science Fiction, Fantasy Titles
NPR is asking people to vote for the Top-100 Science Fiction, Fantasy Titles. I used to read such material voraciously, but not so much in the past 20 years. Still, I’d read about 16% of the works, and you’re only allowed to pick ten titles, so I gave it a shot. When you’re limiting yourself this way, it comes down to sentimental favorites and selectings things that aren’t the usual selections.

- I, Robot, by Isaac Asimov
- The Illuminatus! Trilogy, by Robert Shea & Robert Anton Wilson
- Kindred, by Octavia Butler
- The Lathe of Heaven, by Ursula K. LeGuin
- The Man in the High Castle, by Philip K. Dick
- The Riverworld Series, by Philip Jose Farmer
